Dear families,

For many months now, I’ve been working behind the scenes on
something new that I was excited to share. But this season has taken a
different turn than I expected.

After a great deal of thought and with a very heavy heart, I
have made the difficult decision to close The Pure Parenting Shop and step away
from offering shop services and classes.

I also want to clarify that The Pure Parenting Shop is only
one business within The Family Garden, the blue building many of you have come
to know over the years. While the shop is closing, The Family Garden itself is
not closing. The building will remain open, and thanks to the many wonderful
businesses that offer classes and services there — including Words by the
Handful, Prelude Music, Tippi Toes, El Nido, Focus Health CPR, HoriZen Massage,
Touch Method Massage, Mystic Pores, and others — many of the classes, services,
and community resources families have come to enjoy will continue. Families
will also still have access to the playground as a welcoming place for little

This is not a decision I made lightly. The shop has been
such a meaningful part of my life, and the families I have met through it have
meant more to me than I can fully say.

At the same time, I knew I didn’t want to simply disappear
or leave families without a place to stay connected. Over the years, so many of
you have become more than clients — you have become part of a real community. I
have created a separate online community space called Baby Steps Collective as
a place where families can continue to connect, encourage one another, and
share support in a more private setting.

In many ways, it is meant to carry forward something that
has always mattered deeply to me — the sense of community and support families
found through the shop.

If you are currently registered for an upcoming class or
have an active service with us, I will also be reaching out directly with next
steps regarding refunds, registrations, or transition details.
